Transport options are following:
By bus
You can get to and from Helsinki Airport using the Finnair City buses, operated by Pohjolan Liikenne. The buses depart from the airport and Helsinki city centre every 20 minutes. One way ticket price is 6,20 euros.

Alight at Helsinki railway station and take tram no 4 from outside Stockman’s department store. Alight at the 4th stop outside the Scandic Grand Marina hotel.
By car or taxiFrom Helsinki Vantaa Airport take highway 45 towards Helsinki city centre. Follow signs marked Centrum. From Pohjoisranta street, follow signs to Katajanokka. You will cross a small bridge and see the hotel on your right-hand side. A taxi drive from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport costs approximately 40 euros and takes about 30 minutes.
From Helsinki train station walk across to Stockmann’s department store (Aleksanterinkatu 52) and take tram no 4. Alight at the 4th stop and the Scandic Grand Marina hotel is one block down on the right hand side. Unless you have a valid transport ticket, the tram trip alone costs 2.20 euros (tickets can be purchased from the driver).
By taxiThe taxi trip's duration and price are approximately 10 minutes and 10 euros, respectively.
Taxis are easy to hail in the city centre except during the busiest periods. Taxi stands are conveniently located throughout the centre.

Tickets for public transports can be bought inside the vehicle from the driver or using a ticket machine with HSL (Helsingin Seudun Liikenne) logos on it. An accompanying person will find a public transport ticket in the congress bag. A guide can be found at HSL.fi

ELS2012 Congress Dinner
Time: 19.00-23.30
Place: The island restaurant Saaristo in Klippan.
Boat transportation (m/s Natalia and m/s Doris) depart from Market Square to the island of Klippan at 19.00.
Return boat transportation to Market Square at 23.00 and 23.40.
